Information about the visa

Applying for a Turkey visa is mandatory for travellers headed to Turkey. It doesn’t matter what the reason for the trip is. Only owners of a Turkish passport can travel to Turkey without an e-visa. An e-visa can be applied for online for tourist and business trips to Turkey. Other visas, such as a work or student visa, can be applied for at the Turkish consulate. The Turkey visa obligation also applies to children.

The online application procedure

The online Turkey visa application is done through the digital application form. You can use this form to apply for a visa for yourself but also for others or for an entire travel company, like a family. In the application form, you fill in your personal, contact and address information and you indicate when you will arrive in Turkey. Next, you pay for the for the cost with Visa, MasterCard, American Express or PayPal. As soon as the information and the payment has been received, it will be checked if you qualify for the Turkey visa. If everything is alright, the visa is granted the same day. It is important that you fill in the right information, it is no longer possible to make changes afterwards.

Validity of the Turkey visa

This document is valid for 180 days from the starting date filled in on the application form. Within this validity term of 180 days, the traveller can stay in Turkey for a maximum of 90 days. This stay does not need to be consecutive. It is therefore possible to travel to Turkey. multiple times.
